Order and Payments

Q.1 I am not able to place an order, can you provide any assistance?

Q.2 Do you deliver order at an alternate address also?

Yes, you can email the address you want delivery at to our customer care department and we will verify your details and ship to an alternate address. In case the alternate shipping address falls outside the area serviced by our shipping partners or in case the product has already been shipped we will not be able to service your request.

Q.3 What are the modes of payment? How can I make my payment?

Walls and Murals accepts all major credit and debit cards through SSL encrypted payment gateways of PayPal and PayU and it is absolutely risk free.

You can alternatively deposit cheques directly in our bank account or make RTGS/NEFT transfer.

Q.5 Is my Credit card/Debit card payment secure?

Yes, when you use Credit/Debit Card to make payments , you are absolutely secure. All your payments of Credit/Debit card are processed through SSL encrypted payment gateways of Paypal and PayU.

Wall and Murals does not collect your debit/credit card data and your data is absolutely secure in SSL encrypted payment gateways.

Note : Walls and Murals will never ask you for your Credit/Debit card details.

Q.6 How long will it take to get the order?

When we receive an order, it will take around 5-7 business days for the order to get processed. Shipping agents will take another 5-7 days from the day of dispatch to deliver at your doorstep.

Q.7 Can the order get delayed?

We normally ship within 5-7 business days and there are no delays.

In case of bulk orders or typical customizations where it is going to take more time, the actual time will be intimated to you before we start processing the order.

Q.8 Do I receive a confirmation email for the placed order?

Yes, you will receive a confirmation email for your order.

Q.9 Do I receive a shipping confirmation for the order placed?

Once your order has been completed and is ready for delivery, you will receive a confirmation email and you can keep track of your order.

Q.10 Can I track my order?

Yes. Once the order is dispatched you will receive an email and can keep track of your order. You can send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com or call on +91-7838891800 to keep track of your order placed.

Q.11 Do you charge VAT extra on Wallpapers?

No. You don’t have to pay any taxes over the final amount quoted, as all our prices are inclusive of all taxes or applicable service charges.

Shipping & Returns

Q.1 If I receive damaged or tempered packaging order, what is your return policy?

In case the product you received is damaged in any way or has a fault or tempered packaging,please DO NOT accept your order and return the order back to the courier person.In addition, please call within 24 hours from receiving the order to our Customer Care Department on +91-7838891800 and send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com we will resolve this to your satisfaction.

Q.2 If I receive a faulty or wrong order, what is your return policy?

In case the product you received is faulty or wrong order, please call within 24 hours from receiving the order to our Customer Care Department. Kindly confirm with our customer care department before shipping back the product.

Once your return is approved, you can courier back the faulty product, we will reimburse shipping charges and ensure full replacement at no extra charge. We ensure full replacements. Contact us on +91-7838891800 and send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com we will resolve this to your satisfaction.

Q.3 Can I return non faulty wallpaper?

All the products at Walls and Murals are customized orders. We cannot take back non faulty wallpaper as the product has been made individually to your specifications.

Q.4 What if I need the delivery on urgent basis?

When we receive an order, it will take around 5-7 business days for the order to get processed and can vary from order-to-order as per the customization done. However, if you need products on urgent basis, you can contact our customer care department and we will try to accommodate your request.

Q.5 If I fall short of wallpaper and want to buy only a single roll? Can I place the order for 1 single roll?

Yes, you can place the order for one roll also. For further query send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com or call on +91-7838891800 .

Q.6 Can I cancel my order?

We cannot guarantee cancellation if the order is in design/production stage. We can try to accommodate your request but cannot assure you of cancellation. We cannot accept exchange/returns or any modifications when the order is in printing stage or dispatched.

Customized orders cannot be cancelled or modified once approved by you. Please refer to our Order Cancellation Policy.

Q.7 Will you send the orders all over India?

Yes, we ship all over India for free, but at times we need to check the availability of shipping services with our shipping partners for certain areas.

Q.8 Will you send the orders overseas?

We do overseas shipping and to know more about the extra cost involved you can contact our customer care department. We will not be responsible for any taxes or duties imposed on international orders and there will be shipping charges for overseas destinations.

Product and Customization

Q.1 What is the minimum and maximum size for customized wallpapers?

Our products are priced in square feet, so please be careful when ordering. The minimum size that we accept for customized wallpaper is 20 square feet. There is no limit for maximum size. However, you need to consult our expert regarding quality and resolution of the image you want to print. Q.2 What I need to do to if I want to customize your wallpaper designs in different size?

You can customize existing wallpaper as per your own requirement and space available. Just following simple steps to customize size:

  • Select wallpaper design of your choice
  • Select your wallpaper area/size
  • Custom fill-in the width and height of the wallpaper
  • Crop the image using crop box by dragging the mouse over the wallpaper design.
  • Review the final cropped image.
  • Once confirmed, place your order to print

Q.3 Can wallpapers be customized in irregular shapes?

Yes, choose any design and provide us the tallest and the widest point of that irregular shape and any other specifications and leave the rest to us. Please send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com or call on +91-7838891800 for any query or further assistance.

Q.4 What are the sizes of the seamless rolls?

The seamless rolls are available in two fixed sizes:

Regular Rolls (WXH) 4ft x10ft. and

Extended Rolls (WXH) 4ft x20ft.

Please check the size of the wall/area to be covered, before placing your order

Q.5 How do I know If my choice of wallpaper is suitable for my room, kitchen or bathroom?

You can choose any material, design and color as per your taste and style. You can install wallpaper in kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dining room, living room, stair sides etc. or any available space you want to decorate. The only thing you need to take care is protect wallpapers from moist and wet surfaces. In addition, please avoid spaces that are in direct contact with water.

Q.6 If I cannot find the wallpaper design I want on your website, can you help?

Yes, email or call us, our customer service team will help you to find the wallpaper design of your choice or you can customize your own wallpaper by uploading your image or using our customized options under the heading ‘Print Your Picture’ , ‘Picture Collage’ or ‘Picture In Picture’  . Q.7 Do I customize the existing wallpaper Image?

We can only custom-size as per your desired wall dimensions by cropping on sides. Our wallpapers designs under the heading ‘Creative Concepts’ are in fixed size ratio. You can use the crop box to make adjustments in the original wallpaper and our designers work on customizing the design to your size.

Q.8 How long will I have to wait for a customized order?

We do not want our customers to wait for a long. Depending on the customization specifications and other photo enhancing levels chosen; your order would be dispatched within 5 to 7 business days.

Q.9 What if the design I selected, I wish to get printed in B&W?

We do provide B&W and other options on our customized orders only. But in case you want to personalize any wallpaper from our product list; feel free to contact us, we will work out a customized solution. Send an email at customercare@wallsandmurals.com or call on +91-7838891800.

Q.10 Can I use any image from Internet to create my own wallpapers? Do I need to check for copyrights?

Public Domain images are free to use. You can use the free hires images available on free websites. For those images that are not ‘publicly available’, either you need to buy from stock agencies or contact directly with the copyright holder to get the permission to print and use.

You have to take care that there is no copyright infringement.

Q.11 Can I change my photo frame design while going through final proofs before printing?

Yes you can, But this will increase your production time and change delivery schedule.

Q.12 Can I customize my own photo frame design for Picture-in-Picture wallpaper?

Of course! You can create your own customized photo frames design and don’t forget to send us and mention the same in “Special Instructions” section. However, if you have a specific request, kindly provide us detailed information regarding frame layout, photo frame design or alignment of photos. Q.13 Is there any limit of photos to create Picture-in-Picture wallpaper or Picture Collage?

The limit will depend on the layout you choose and wall measurement you provide. If there is any requirement regarding layout and placement of photos, please provide us detailed information and we will try to accommodate all your requests and will send you digital final proofs by email for approval. Q.14 What if I want the Photo Collages in altogether a different layout from your existing layout style list?

You can create photo collage the way you want it to get displayed on the wall. If you have a specific request, kindly provide us detailed information regarding photo layout and placement of photos. The more detailed information you will give about your wallpaper, the faster will be the production at our end. We will contact you and give you the options; it may involve extra cost depending upon the specifications given.

Q.15 How do I know that the image I want for customized order is of high resolution or not?

You don’t need to worry. Upload your image on our website and we will check the resolution at our end and do the necessary touchups to make it of printable quality.

Q.16 Will I get the prints in exactly the same color I am seeing on screen?

You may or may not. All designs are color calibrated for best quality production, but these may not show in exact colors on your screen due to screen resolution, display card and software issue. But you can be rest assure that we use best technology to offer the best color output in all our prints.

 

Material Care & Installation

Q.1 Can wallpapers be installed on a rough surface?

No, wallpapers cannot be installed on a rough surface. We therefore suggest you to either choose a flat/smooth surface or always smooth out any rough spots with sandpaper and fill any holes or cracks with patching plaster. Refer our  “Wall Preparation“ section for more clarification on this type of issue.

Q.2 How long will the wallpaper last?

With little care and regular maintenance our wallpapers can last for many years.

Q.3 How should I clean my Wallpapers?

You can wipe wallpapers using clean dry cloth to remove dust particles. Avoid hard scrubbing and chemical based detergent to clean wallpapers. Sponge with water or dampen a clean cloth and wipe gently for long lasting wallpapers.

Q.4 Are your wallpapers eco-friendly?

Walls and murals products are produced using high quality material for long lasting results. Our PVC-free wallpapers are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

Q.5 What to do with pre-pasted wallpapers before hanging?

Pease go through our “Installation Process” for complete know how. Simply follow the instructions and be an expert.

Q.6 What material is used for printing wallpapers?

Brush Strokes Textured Non-Tearable Wallpaper

  • Canvas based with synthetic canvas texture
  • Requires glue to paste and is hard to tear
  • Matte canvas texture creates an artistic look and feel

Q.7 Do I need to apply pastes on the wallpaper?

Depends on the material you choose. If you choose un-gummed wallpapers you need to apply gum/paste to each panel before installation.

Q.8 Are Wallpapers and Murals “Do It Yourself” DIY?

Yes, our wallpapers are DIY and can be easily installed. By following the instructions carefully you can easily install the products, if you need special assistance you can take help of any wallpaper contractor in your area.

Q.9 When I remove the wallpapers from walls will it cause any damage to the wall?

No, there will be no damage to the walls. All you need to do is carefully remove wallpapers and then wipe off the residue on your wall with a clean piece of cloth or sponge.

Walls can get damaged in a rare scenario where the base material is weak or if the wall has moisture in it or if the wall preparation before installation was not done properly.

Q.10 Will long exposure to sunlight damage my wallpaper?

We suggest not installing wallpapers on outside walls where there is direct exposure to sunlight as the UV rays would shorten the life span of the wallpaper. The wallpapers are meant to be for interior application.
